On Tuesday, 29 January, Arseniy Yatseniuk, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, arrived to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea with a two-day working visit.
Speaking with the deputies of The Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Chairman will consider a number of urgent problems of the Autonomy that require legislative solution.
On Tuesday, upon arrival, A.Yatseniuk will meet the representatives of village and settlement Councils, and residents of Simferopol district of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The participants of the meeting will discuss the problem regarding unauthorized acquisition of land plots. Prior to the meeting, the Chairman is expected to see round the land plots acquired without due permission on the outskirts of Simferopol.
On the same day the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will hold a round- table meeting with the observers of the main ARC mass media in the live broadcast of the television program "Politychna Studia" ("Political Studio") in the State Television and Radio Enterprise "Krym". A.Yatseniuk will also give an interview for a program of the television company "Chornomorska".
On Wednesday, 30 January, A.Yatseniuk will meet rectors of Crimean higher education establishments and representatives of student self-government. Afterwards the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will hold a meeting with the members of the Presidium of The Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, chairmen of village, settlement and city councils.
In the end of his working visit A.Yatseniuk will hold a press conference for the central and local mass media in Simferopol.
